At Onne Port, two high-value umbilical reels weighing over 242 and 113.7  tons, respectively. An essential for subsea deployment—awaited transport to Aveon Jetty. Their size and sensitivity demanded more than routine logistics; they required expert handling and precise planning solutions, which our team at Solutions Benchmark Marine was entrusted with.

Leveraging our deep expertise and partnerships in marine logistics, the team executed a Roll-On operation at Onne, using specialized trailers (SPMT) and a barge propelled with tugboats. We eliminated any risks and ensured the structural integrity of the reels & equipment. Every movement was calculated, every lashing secured to withstand transit conditions.

Upon arrival at Aveon Jetty, the operation transitioned to a crane lift, coordinated with precision and safety protocols. The reels were lifted and placed onto the laydown area without incident, ready for integration into offshore systems.
